2003-09-08 :: Wednesday ~ Monday..

Well.. so it's been a week since I got here, and I have been quite busy. You wanna know what I've been doing? I will tell you..

Wednesday night we went to a Melbourne uni architecture ball, this meant I had to run around, trying to get something to wear for 2 days. Very stressful.. The actual ball wasn't too bad, just.. Yeah, it wasn't too bad.

Thursday, during the day time I went to Monash Clayton.. Do you know how nice that place is? Thinking that I could have been there, made me really emotional. I could be a part of that community, going there studying in that environemnt every day.. I know I shouldn't be saying this.. but it was.. well I must say I was feeling rather jealouse..

Typical of Brenton, he kinda organized the row for me without really asking me.. Nah I knew he wanted me to row it was just.. I dno't know. Well so yes I rowed with Banks that evening. Great to be back on the water.. Felt really nice. There were a few things I really didn't want to see, feel, bluh bluh, but all together it was great.

Had so much fun that night at Frostbites. Damn I can't go there next week.. It was brilliant. Had an amazing night..

Friday I went shopping with Susan. I love her. I can't explain how great friend she is.. We had quite a big shop that day.. I won't tell you what we bought because you'll be shocked to hear it. But it was fabulouse. Didn't end up doing much on that night.. just went around to Tim's 20th and then Hakon's. I guess we were just a little too tired. But the night like that reminded me of the times back in when we were like yr11s..

As far as I'm concerned I think Saturday was the highelight of my stay here.. We had a surprise for Mel's 19th because we couldn't do one when she turned 18. Oh but before that.. don't forget I went to Matt's mum's Barwon Head's house. That place will be so nice during the summer because even it was absolutly freezing it was still beuatiful. One when when I have enough money I'll buy a little house there. Ok back to the track what we did on Saturday.. well we had a little drink at Pen's and then hopped on the taxi went to KINGS ST.. you know what it's like at night time right? We had an amzing night at Mandate Cabaret; yep a strip club. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.... it was excellent. Only one who went all the way and he was a bit..er.. and the one we wanted to see didn't prove what he had under there was real or not. Great to have a girl's night out.

Didn't do much yesterday. Just had a lunch with Trevor's family(!). It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The place was really nice so I forgive whoever I should be annoyed at. Note to remember: go to Vincent's down in Beach rd..

Went straight to Gem's place to pick her up and headed off to St Kilda.. Felt so... normal. You know? Going down there, get gelati and walk around, shopping.. I really don't want to think about the fact that I only have 2 more full days left. I have been having a time of my life not just because I've been going out like every single night and do whatever I wanna do, but because I have my friends who let me to be who I am in this beautiful city where I know so much about it. I love everything, and I love everyone. I know I use a word *love* quite often but I really mean it. I'm glad I'm here and I'm glad I'm not doing whatever tourists would do and see what they'd see. For me this feels home. Place where I can feel there is no need to pretend who I am.
